Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of the Ink Weasel app created by Electric Shark Tattoo. The app is designed to control tattoo machines — including The Scepter and other Electric Shark audio machines — and generate audio signals for compatible audiopower supplies.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. We do not track your behaviour or sell usage data to third parties.

When you use voice commands or the Machine Tuner, speech and microphone audio are processed on your device (and by Apple's speech recognition services when enabled) to carry out your request. That audio is not stored by us on a server.

Microphone access

The microphone is used only when you enable voice commands or open the Machine Tuner. You can revoke microphone access at any time in iPhone Settings → Ink Weasel.

Bluetooth

Ink Weasel routes audio output through your iPhone's standard audio system. We do not pair with or collect data from Bluetooth devices beyond what iOS provides for audio playback.
